, Operational changes to the current EX-70-G2 HDBaseT extender model enable it to support 4K and comply with HDCP 2.2, and have enhanced control options for point-to-point UltraHD HDMI expansion, while continuing to provide unparalleled value for commercial or residential applications .
WyreStorm added in the press release that Class B HDBaseT can be reliably delivered at 30Hz 8bit 4:4:4 or 3840x2160p and 4096x2160p at 60Hz 8bit 4:2:0 to 3m / 115ft or 1080p 60Hz 48bit to 70m / 230ft 3840x2160p, and supports Dolby Atmos and DTS-X multi-channel audio.
This model update adds two-way RS-232 and the previously supported two-way IR enable source or display, which can be controlled from either end, and CEC pass-through can realize one-button on/off commands. Just connect the WyreStorm infrared link cable, and you can also connect to third-party infrared/control products.
The 2-way PoH power supply continues to provide integrators with flexible and convenient PSU-free installation, enabling TX or RX to be remotely powered from any location according to the needs of the application, which simplifies installation and reduces potential failure points in the system.
The second edition of EX-70-G2 also has an automatic EDID management function, all functions are in the same 15mm ultra-compact chassis, can be easily installed behind the flush-mounted screen.
