Network Technology Corporation (NTI) announced the addition of HDMI HDBase-T extenders with IR, RS232 and Ethernet to its popular HDMI extender series.
The XTENDEX® HDMI HDBase-T extender uses HDBase-T technology to transmit uncompressed digital HDMI, IR, RS232 and Ethernet signals up to 328 feet (100 meters) through a single CAT5e/6/7 cable. The extender supports HDTV resolution to 1080p and computer resolution to 4096x2160. The user can use the existing source remote control to get full infrared remote (IR) control of the HDMI source from the remote HDTV. The Ethernet ports on the transmitter and receiver are ideal for connecting network devices, such as 100Base-T routers, hubs, smart TVs or smart Blu-ray players.
Each ST-C6HDE-HDBT contains a local unit connected to an HDMI source and a remote unit connected to an HDMI display. The extender supports the following HDMI functions: 4Kx2K resolution (3480x2160 and 4096x2160), 48-bit deep color, xvColor, sYCC601 color, Adobe RGB color, Adobe YCC601 color, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Digital, DTS, 3D, Up to 3.4 GHz bandwidth, Lip Sync, and supports devices compatible with Consumer Electronics Control (CEC). The device complies with the HDCP specification and supports the DDC2B protocol.
The HDMI HDBase-T extender only needs a power supply to power local and remote devices, and has an integrated mounting bracket that can be easily installed on a surface or wall. It is made of high-quality, strong steel structure and has a durable powder coating.
