The high-performance 18 Gbps HDMI distribution amplifier can provide two HDMI inputs for two or four HDBaseT outputs. KD-DA2x4G and KD-DA2x8G are designed for excellent distribution systems, without reducing signal quality, while maintaining the best cost performance, while providing the best quality, performance and reliability.
Key Digital’s latest distribution amplifier differs from its competitors in the front-end switch selection, which can easily distribute different content to all four of up to 100 m/328 ft at 1080p resolution or 70 m/250 ft at 4K. Eight screens. All four/eight monitors are connected via the attached remote HBaseT receiving unit. All receiving units are powered by KD-DA2x4G and KD-DA2x8G, which frees the integrator from the troublesome task of plugging in the power supply behind each monitor.
KD-DA2x4G and KD-DA2x8G include various integrated tools. When enabled, the auto-sensing function will automatically switch to the newly detected power supply or switch from the newly disconnected power supply through the hot plug detection voltage. The analog and digital audio de-embedding of selected sources also enables distributed video content to be fed into the connected audio system. The control pass-through allows IR or RS-232 signals from professional control systems to control the connected display, or is collected from the Rx unit and sent to the main frame location to control the selected signal source.
KD-DA2x4G and KD-DA2x8G support 4:4:4 4096x2160 or 3840x2160 24/25/30/60hz Ultra HD/4K resolution (signal up to 18 Gbps bandwidth), signal extension 4K/UHD up to 76 using CAT5e/CAT6 / CAT6A / CAT7 reach m / 250 feet, for the latest HDMI standard, 1080p signal extension up to 100 m / 328 ft under 18 Gbps bandwidth.
These impressive distribution amplifiers provide resolution support for all SD, HD, VESA (VGA, SVGA, XGA, WXGA, SXGA, UXGA) resolutions up to 4096x2160p, HDCP 2.2 forward and backward compatibility, up to HDCP 2.2. High dynamic range (HDR) format supports HDR10 and Dolby® Vision, and deep color supports up to UHD/4K 60Hz 4:2:0/12 bit, 60Hz 4:2:2/12 bit. With the support of HDR10 (High Dynamic Range), video users can experience more realistic images through a wider range of brightness levels. Key Digital's HDR10 delivery is part of its proprietary Full Buffer Technology (FBT).
KD-DA2x4G and KD-DA2x8G have EDID control function, have built-in 15 EDID handshake internal libraries, and can copy EDID data from the display connected to the output/display. Full buffer system management TMDS re-timing/signal regeneration, HDCP source and display authentication, hot plug management and EDID control handshake. Supported lossless compressed digital audio formats include Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby Atmos.
These products have joined a set of products that support Key Digital IP, and these products are now available for use in applications. Key Digital engineers created a simple way for installers and users to switch the input of the video distribution system as if you were standing in front of the device-all from the iOS device. The Key Digital application can be downloaded for free from the App Store. KD-DA2x4G and KD-DA2x8G also support Key Digital Management Pro software (KDMS Pro), Compass Control Pro, and can be fully controlled by all IR, RS-232 and TCP/IP supported control systems through open API.
