Shockingly enough, Stadia and Capture Devices aren’t compatible

If you wish to enter Stadia and stream your games to

,

or

. Well, I received some bad news in the form of your favorite capture device, which is not available on Stadia at all.

Google’s Stadia is now in the hands of reviewers and those who pay for Stadia Founders Edition. I'm not sure how many people try to capture material from their TVs and monitors. This is exactly the first thing I tried

It was served (don't judge me anymore!). To say the least, the results were disappointing.

I thought a lot and found that we need Chromecast Ultra to play Stadia on any device other than a mobile phone or PC. Despite sending a lot of inquiries to Google (and none of them answered), I still hope there is some way. Sadly, it does not seem to be the case at the moment.

After plugging my Chromecast into my 4K HDMI switch, the switch sends a few wires from the console settings to the PC. I was welcomed, no, this is not the main signal that is happening.

No, I cannot use expensive capture equipment at the same time.

For those who want to know which devices I have used, this will include

Live Gamer Mini and Elgato's HD60S.

Now, this problem can be overcome by using an HDMI splitter that strips the HDCP signal. However, because it can be used to "steal" the content of media streaming services, there are almost no products available for sale. That said, I won't tell you what are there, but I believe you can find it yourself.

What does capturing the game screen of Stadia games mean for the future? At present, this is very serious, because our only way is to use OBS, XSPlit and other software to capture gameplay or two PC settings. However, since Stadia's PC performance is not yet outstanding, I would rather not go this way unless I really need to do it.

Of course, you can use Stadia's built-in features to record gameplay. Except for the moment, it is limited to 30 seconds capture and a lower start resolution. I have contacted Google again to see if there are any plans to add this feature or add support for capture cards in the future.

Now, I think we still cannot record on PC.

This is sad, and it makes it more difficult for people like me to circulate actual gameplay to help the sales arena.
