Leading control and automation manufacturer RTI announced today that the company will now deliver its new HDMI 2.0 full bandwidth video matrix solution. 4×4 VX44-18G-Kit, 8×8 VX88-18G and matching VRX70-18G receiver are built based on the latest HDBaseT 18Gbps standard, and have advanced color space conversion (CSC) technology, and are seamless with the RTI control system Integration, thus realizing the RTI control system. Faster installation and enhanced user management.
"VX44-18G-Kit, VX88-18G and VRX70-18G add an expanded portfolio of RTI video distribution solutions to support the HDBaseT 18Gbps standard," said Neal Ellsworth, RTI Director, AV Product Management. "They are integrated locally with the RTI control environment, and the drivers are built into the latest version of the RTI Integration Designer APEX programming software to save time for each installation. For the end user, the control is entirely in the RTI control system to achieve simple and intuitive Operation."
The RTI full bandwidth solution supports 4K UHD resolution with a 60Hz refresh rate and 4:4:4 chroma sampling to provide clear and clear image quality and eliminate blurring in action movies. These devices comply with the HDCP 2.2 specification and support all known HDMI audio formats, including Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD Master Audio.
The VX44-18G-Kit and VX88-18G matrices have four and eight HDMI inputs, respectively, and can be independently routed to four and eight HDBaseT outputs. In addition, each unit provides synchronized HDBaseT/HDMI output. These devices provide video down-conversion for lower-resolution displays, while the web browser interface module provides simple configuration.
The matrix can be paired with the VXR70-18G receiver-VX44-18G-Kit is bundled with four-with HDMI retime function, can solve HDMI HDCP, compatibility and handshaking issues, and support IR pass-through to compatible HDBaseT devices. In order to simplify the installation, the receiver is powered by the matrix through the power cable (PoC), thus eliminating the need for an additional power supply.
