Metra Home Theater Group brings its latest HDMI infrastructure solutions (such as optical cables, extenders, switches, etc.) into Integrated Systems Europe 2020.

Metra Home Theater Group will showcase its fiber optic extenders, all-in-one calibration tools and 4x1 Multi-Viewer products at ISE 2020.

This is an exciting time for HDMI-related products, and

Will show part of it

, Will be held in Amsterdam from February 11th to 14th.

, MHTG will bring its new products to European integrator attendees at the 1-Q80 booth of ISE 2020. The company will focus on the introduction of 48Gbps bandwidth HDMI cables, 8K products, next-generation HDMI electronic products, etc.

The company focuses on

As the format becomes more and more common.

The new products will help integrators work hard to install seamless solutions for video customers with the latest and reliable infrastructure.

"8K is ubiquitous at CEDIA Expo and CES, and we hope it will become another important theme of ISE," said Jessy Crabb, general manager of Metra Home Theater Group.

"Although TV manufacturers are introducing more and more 8K displays, we are happy to showcase the latest technologies in cables and electronics, which will help integrators provide home theater experiences and realize their true 8K potential. In addition, we are still It is providing reliable solutions for 4K AV distribution and next-generation electronic products to solve today’s HDMI problems."

MHTG's new Velox fiber optic HDMI cable with Ethernet supports 48Gbps at 8Gbps

The company pointed out that the maximum distance is 100 meters. The 100-meter cable was previewed using a real 8K signal generator at CES in Las Vegas in January and will be exhibited on ISE.

The company pointed out that ultra-high-end buildings and high-tech projects can meet the long-term demand for higher bandwidth content. MTHG added that multilayer shielding prevents electromagnetic interference, thereby isolating noise to the greatest extent and protecting components from HDMI ultra-low-speed radiation.

Metra's Velox EHV-HDG2 series will be available soon, with lengths ranging from 10 to 100 meters (32.8 to 328 feet).

The live demonstration of MHTG's new 4×1 HDMI Multi-Viewer will be at the ISE booth. CS-4X1MVU can display up to four signal sources with different content on a single display, and provides multiple split-screen viewing modes. The company explained that, for example, viewers can watch multiple sports games on one screen, watch a computer monitor and a Blu-ray player at the same time, or display video games and a cable box on the TV at the same time.

In addition, a key function of Multi-Viewer is the ability to select which input audio is sent to the display. Input and output support 720p, 1080p, 1440p and 4K@30Hz.

MHTG also showed off its new series of Helios 8K DisplayPort gaming cables, which have zero latency on ISE. These 8K cables are designed to provide ultra-fast response times for gamers with excellent picture quality. These cables will be available in retail packages with lengths of 3, 6 and 9 feet respectively, and will be connected to high-frequency gaming monitors to work with video resolutions ranging from HD to 8K.

They support uncompressed digital 7.1, 5.1 or 2-channel audio pass-through. Keeping in mind for gamers using multiple screens, these cables also facilitate multi-monitor configurations via Display Port 1.4 cables and provide backward compatibility with DisplayPort 1.2 cables.

Regarding the next generation of HDMI electronic products at its ISE booth, Metra will be equipped with HDMI surge protectors, all-in-one correction tools and EDID Regenerator, and now supports 24Gbps.

The HDMI Surge Protector (HDM-SP3) can protect AV systems including HDMI-supported electronic devices from electrostatic discharges up to 8000 volts spikes through coaxial, Ethernet and serial data ports.

This

(HDM-AIO2) can immediately solve most common HDMI problems encountered by installers in today's home theater systems. According to MHTG, it now has a smaller footprint and lower price tag, as well as a redesigned circuit board to improve efficiency and provide faster input switching.

By installing the Junior3 (HDM-JR3) EDID regenerator, you can increase the black screen, long synchronization time, audio loss and other issues, thereby improving compatibility and minimizing failures between HDMI-supporting devices.

The company explained that when multiple displays are used to integrate video surveillance DVR/NVR devices into a distributed HDMI system, the new EDID blocker (HDM-EDIDB) will block EDID streaming.

The new HDMI matrix launched by MHTG on ISE will be the highlight of AV distribution. 4×4 and 8×8 HDBaseT HDMI matrix products can scale video content of different resolutions to different displays. The company pointed out: "Unlike traditional matrices, they do not default to the lowest resolution in the system, so that traditional and new 4K technologies can coexist without sacrificing the high-quality content of 4K displays."

The additional 4×4 and 8×8 HDMI matrix models provide a fast switching function, which can reduce the waiting time for users when changing content/channels. Metra says that all four new matrices include pre-built drivers for the most commonly used control systems.

Finally, MHTG's new optical HDMI extender (CS-HDFBREXT-VLC) supports resolutions up to 4K @ 60Hz HDR. This product allows installers to extend the HDMI signal to 300 meters on a single pair of multimode OM3 fiber optic cables with LC connectors, while still maintaining 18Gbps 4K/HDR resolution.
