Hall Research’s ULTRA-4K transmitter provides two HDMI inputs and a USB port for connection to a host PC. The transmitter provides a local HDMI output and a two-port USB hub. The remote receiver only uses a Cat-6 cable to connect to the transmitter. The transmitter provides 3 RJ45 outputs, so multiple receivers can be connected to allow access to the PC from multiple remote locations. When multiple receivers are connected to the same transmitter, all receivers display the same two video screens, and keyboard/mouse data from two remote locations will be automatically routed to the PC based on user activity. The entire system is transparent to the PC and does not need to install any drivers or software.
The ULTRA-4K receiver provides two HDMI video outputs, dedicated keyboard and mouse ports (with automatic switching function) and a 4-port USB 2.0 hub for connecting other USB devices, such as touch screens, printers, etc. The playback operation does not require any settings, just connect the transmitter to the receiver with a Cat5e/6 cable, and you are ready to use! The system supports video resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 (UHD/4K), but it also supports and is very suitable for applications that require 2560 x 1600, 2560 x 1440, and 1920 x 1080 resolutions. It also supports other standard HDTV and PC resolutions.
The Ultra-4K system is ideal for high-resolution KVM applications that require computers to be stored in a secure server room and can be accessed remotely from a single or multiple locations (for example, in the trading room of a financial institution). Or access information or monitor patients in medical institutions.
