Video distribution company Bluestream has launched its new Contractor HDBaseT Matrix, which can distribute HDMI up to 70m, bidirectional IR and PoH (PoE) through a CAT cable.
The company said that the new C44-KIT distributes 4K HDCP 2.2 resolution from 4 sources to 4 regions.
The matrix also provides advanced features, including synchronized HDBaseT™/HDMI output and a web browser interface module for advanced control integration and matrix configuration. The solution is a plug-and-play kit provided with 4 HEX70B receivers.
Blustream general manager Martyn Shirley said: "We have witnessed the emergence of new matrix price points in the past 12 months, and the market is looking for streamlined professional solutions that can maintain its position in any multi-room AV system. We have worked closely with customers and component-level suppliers to develop our latest contractor series of cost-effective solutions. The key is to listen to the opinions of our partners and then design specialized products with redundant functions.
"We have specified that C44-KIT supports the latest HDCP2.2 protocol and supports resolutions up to 4K 60Hz 4:2:0, which account for more than 95% of the current 4K signal sources on the market. In the next 6 to Within 12 months, we expect that the market will be polarized, as we will see advanced HDBaseT solutions that support full 4K resolution at 60Hz 4:4:4. These new solutions will naturally be more expensive than current models because If this is more important than ever, then AV engineers specify the right equipment for the project at hand. C44-KIT will be an excellent solution for residential district 4 installations in the next few years."
The suggested retail price of the C44-KIT is US$2,499.
